Theater under the trees – Théâtre sous les arbres

Our 7th and 8th graders EINY students had the opportunity to play in the theater under the trees of Union Square Park!

Based on a theme, the students invented scenes around the notions of comedy and tragedy, in connection with the plays “Les Fourberies de Scapin” by Molière and “Phèdre” by Jean Racine, which they study in class.

With their chaperones Franck Le Martelot and Adela Sinclair, they presented a comic or tragic scene … and experienced the theater under the trees!
