Theater under the trees – Théâtre sous les arbres

Our 7th and 8th graders EINY students had the opportunity to play in the theater under the trees of Union Square Park!

Based on a theme, the students invented scenes around the notions of comedy and tragedy, in connection with the plays « Les Fourberies de Scapin » by Molière and « Phèdre » by Jean Racine, which they study in class.

With their chaperones Franck Le Martelot and Adela Sinclair, they presented a comic or tragic scene … and experienced the theater under the trees!
