The World of Work is back for its eleventh season at The École in 2024-2025! We are delighted to welcome a variety of industry experts to meet our 8th Grade students in their classroom and share their professional experience, values, background, and knowledge with them.

Over the past few months, I’ve obviously been thinking a lot about how we can continue to improve our pedagogical program next year. Attending conferences, lectures, meetings, and discussions (and snooping online!) is a means of ensuring that The École is always up to speed with the latest innovations and approaches. Our expertise in bilingualism is well established; nonetheless, we relentlessly strive to ensure that we remain at the top of our game. It’s the same for our flexible classrooms–another area in which we excel, and the same can be said of our sports and arts programs.

I had the good fortune to sample some delicious hot chocolate and scrumptious freshly baked madeleines during Noémie Tessier’s visit yesterday. Noémie, Executive Pastry Chef at Angelina Paris, New York came to meet our 7th and 8th graders as part of the World of Work (WoW) program, masterfully coordinated for eight years now by Franck Le Martelot with the assistance of Gayle Hampton.
